This report is for Sunday, May 6 through Saturday, May 12, 2018. There were 49 reported incidents.   RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES There were 4 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance. 2 in North Torrance, 1 in Old Torrance and 1 in the Madrona area. 2 burglaries were from open garages and another from an unlocked garage.   AUTO BURGLARIES There were 8 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance. 1 vehicle was unlocked. Items stolen included a police uniform, speaker, backpack, microphone, whistle, binder, suitcase, hotspot device, garage door remote, another backpack, video games, purse, wallet, sunglasses, clothes, another garage door remote, gate remote, shoes, blanket, music CDs and a manual.   AUTO THEFT There were 6 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.   THEFT There were 14 incidents in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance. An arrest has been made in connection with the stabbing death of a woman at a Rolling Hills Estates mall, L.A. The West Torrance residence door was unlocked, property was ransacked and tablet stolen on May 2nd.
