RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
There were 6 in Torrance.
3 in North Torrance, 2 in Southeast Torrance, and 1 in Torrance Heights Civic (south of Madrona Car Wash).
 
March 30th 9:30PM to March 31st 8:55AM   1900 Block 235th St (Walnut to Cabrillo)
Suspect entered open garage and took property from unlocked vehicles/cash and sunglasses.
 
March 28th  9:20AM to 5:20PM  24300 Block Walnut St
Sliding glass door shattered for entry, property ransacked and statue stolen.
 
AUTO BURGLARY
There were 9 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance. 
Windows were smashed in three vehicles for entry.
 
AUTO THEFT
3 vehicles and 1 trailer were stolen and none were in Southeast Torrance.
 
THEFT
There were 7 reported incidents in Torrance and 1 in Southeast Torrance.
 
March 30th to April 2nd  23700 Block of Walnut Street  Car Battery stolen.
 
Delivered parcels were stolen from residences in the 3400 Block of 189th St,
2500 Block of 177th St and the 20800 Block of Annrita Avenue.

Paper Shredding and Electronics Recycling for Torrance Residents Only

City of Torrance Public Works is holding an Earth Day recycling event for free paper shredding and electronics recycling. Saturday, August 21, 2021 8 a.m. - noon Torrance City Hall East Employee Parking Lot (near Torrance Courthouse off Maple Avenue) The Recycling Event is for TORRANCE RESIDENTS ONLY.
