 This report is for Sunday, April 1, 2018 through Saturday, April 7, 2018.
The were 52 entries in the log.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
There were 5 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
1 each in North Torrance, Southwood, Country Hills, Gramercy Place and Delthorne.
 
AUTO BURGLARIES
There were 17 in Torrance and 1 in Southeast Torrance in the 23600 Block of Arlington Ave.
2 were in the New Horizons area and  3 were in the Rolling Hills Plaza.  The items stolen from
these 3 vehicles including wallets which may indicate the owners were using the fitness center
when the daytime auto burglary occurred.
 
AUTO THEFT
There were 2 stolen vehicles in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
 
THEFT
There were 13 incidents including 2 in Southeast Torrance.  6 batteries were stolen from vehicles in Torrance
during the week.
 
4/1 11PM to 4/2 9:30 AM  2300 Block 230th Place        Spare wheel and tire removed from parked vehicle.
4/1 7PM   to 4/2 10PM      2000 Block Sepulveda Blvd  Battery removed from vehicle.

Southeast Torrance 7 12 5PM 2400 Block 235th Place Suspect entered open garage, entered residence via open access door, fled when resident yelled at him. No property loss Old Torrance 7 12 1AM 800 Block Portola Ave Suspected entered residence via unlocked door and fled when victim woke up in the bedroom. Hillside 7 16 2:44AM 2500 Ridgeland Rd Glass Panel removed to unlock door for entry, Suspects fled when victim awoke, screamed and chased them out of the residence.
