RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
There were 4 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
1 each in North Torrance, Country Hills, the Riviera and Southwood Riviera.
 
AUTO BURGLARIES
There were 7 in Torrance and 2 in Southeast Torrance.
4/15/2018  7PM to 4/16/2018 6:40AM      2400 Block 227th St (Pennsylvania Avenue)
Keys, remote, CD’s, manual and charger stolen.
4/16/2018  3:30PM to 4/17/2018  5AM    2400 Block 227th St
Convertible top cut for entry.  No loss.
 
AUTO THEFT
Three vehicles were stolen in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
 
THEFT
There were 9 incidents in Torrance and one in Southeast Torrance.
4/19/2018 9PM to 4/20/2018 5AM      1800 Block 243rd St
Tailgate removed from parked vehicle.
 
A delivered parcel was taken from a porch in Country Hills.
 
5 catalytic converters were removed from vehicles in West Torrance, Southwood Riviera – 2 vehicles,
Southwood, and North Torrance.

Paper Shredding and Electronics Recycling for Torrance Residents Only

City of Torrance Public Works is holding an Earth Day recycling event for free paper shredding and electronics recycling. Saturday, August 21, 2021 8 a.m. - noon Torrance City Hall East Employee Parking Lot (near Torrance Courthouse off Maple Avenue) The Recycling Event is for TORRANCE RESIDENTS ONLY.
