AUTO BURGLARIES
There were 9 in Torrance including 1 in Southeast Torrance.
Tuesday, 1 30 18 5:15 PM 22700 Crenshaw Blvd (Commercial building)
Wallet stolen.
Items stolen included wallet, sunglasses, laptop, projector, tablet,
wrist watch, headphones, another wallet, briefcase, purse, tablets,
wi-fi mobile hotspots, cell phone, handgun, radiation detector,
keys, and charging cables
AUTO THEFT
3 vehicles and 1 boat were stolen in Torrance. None in Southeast Torrance.
THEFT
There were 9 incidents in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
In Old Torrance, a suspect posed as a Southern California Edison employee,
telephoned the victim and convinced him to pay a fictitious overdue bill using
Money Pack card numbers. A catalytic converter was stolen in North Torrance.
