Weekly Crime Report for Southeast Torrance


This report is for Sunday, October 30, 2016 through Saturday, November 6, 2016.
There were 49 incidents reported to Torrance Police during the period.
 
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
There were two in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
1 in North Torrance and 1 on Maricopa Street near Madrona Avenue.
A door was unlocked in one of the residences.
 
AUTO BURGLARIES
There were seven in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
 
AUTO THEFT
There were five in Torrance and one in Southeast Torrance.
On Thursday, November 3rd, two 2016 Mercedes Benz C300’s were
stolen in the 3300 Block of Pacific Coast Highway.
 
A 1995 Ford Bronco was stolen sometime between October 31, 2016
and November 4, 2016 from the 23700 Block of Western Avenue in
Southeast Torrance.  Vehicles are parked for days at a time on the east
and west side of the trailer park.
 
THEFT
There were 12 instances of theft and none in Southeast Torrance.
Packages were taken from three residences and an individual impersonated
a resident and intercepted his FedEx delivery.

Southeast Torrance 7 12 5PM 2400 Block 235th Place Suspect entered open garage, entered residence via open access door, fled when resident yelled at him. No property loss Old Torrance 7 12 1AM 800 Block Portola Ave Suspected entered residence via unlocked door and fled when victim woke up in the bedroom. Hillside 7 16 2:44AM 2500 Ridgeland Rd Glass Panel removed to unlock door for entry, Suspects fled when victim awoke, screamed and chased them out of the residence.
