Details below from the Los Angeles Fire Department on the fire.  LAFD is currently in a defensive mood which means the black smoke will be continuing for a undetermined period of time.
Avoid Torrance Blvd at Normandie Avenue.

Paper Shredding and Electronics Recycling for Torrance Residents Only

City of Torrance Public Works is holding an Earth Day recycling event for free paper shredding and electronics recycling. Saturday, August 21, 2021 8 a.m. - noon Torrance City Hall East Employee Parking Lot (near Torrance Courthouse off Maple Avenue) The Recycling Event is for TORRANCE RESIDENTS ONLY.
