Weekly Crime Report for Southeast Torrance and Update on the new Costco


This report is for Sunday, November 22, 2015 through Saturday, November 28, 2015.
42 incidents were reported to Torrance Police.
 
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
There were 9 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance. 
2 in Hollywood Riviera and 1 each in Torrance Heights, Marble Estates, Hillside,
Madrona Marsh area, Southwood Riviera, Walteria and North.
Unlocked door in 2 incidents, unsecured window, open garage and unlocked garage in
3 other incidents.
 
AUTO BURGLARIES
There were 14 in Torrance and 1 in Southeast Torrance.
11 24 15    6:30 AM to 7:30 AM   1800 Block Schilling Court
Suspect enter unlocked vehicle, ransacked and took purse.
 
Entry was made in 5 of the incidents by unknown means, 4 by smashing windows,
2 vehicles were unlocked and door locks were punched in 2 vehicles resulting in
3rd row seats being stolen. 
 
AUTO THEFT
2 vehicles were stolen and none in Southeast Torrance.
 
LOMITA
No residential burglaries.  2 stolen vehicles and 1 auto burglary with an arrest.
 
THE NEW COSTCO
The canopy is up for the new gas station with a March 11, 2016 opening date for the
new store warehouse, gas station and car wash.

This report is for Sunday, July 11, 2021 through Saturday, July 17, 2021. 45 incidents reported in the City of Torrance Crime Log at: https://www.torranceca.gov/home/showpublisheddocument/67336/637625553607530000 RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES There were 3 in Torrance. 1 each in Southeast Torrance, Old Torrance and the Hillside area. Southeast Torrance 7 12 5PM 2400 Block 235th Place Suspect entered open garage, entered residence via open access door, fled when resident yelled at him. No property loss Old Torrance 7 12 1AM 800 Block Portola Ave Suspected entered residence via unlocked door and fled when victim woke up in the bedroom. Hillside 7 16 2:44AM 2500 Ridgeland Rd Glass Panel removed to unlock door for entry, Suspects fled when victim awoke, screamed and chased them out of the residence. AUTO BURGLARIES There were 5 in Torrance and windows were smashed in 3 vehicles for entry. Items stolen included a wallet, speaker, cash, sunglasses, a key, backpacks, clothes, tablet
