Weekly Crime Report for Southeast Torrance


This report is for Sunday, September 29, 2013 through Saturday, October 5, 2013
 
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
There were 3 residential burglaries in Torrance.  Two in Old Torrance and one
at Flower and Carson.  None in Southeast Torrance.
 
AUTO BURGLARIES
There were 13 auto burglaries in Torrance with three of them in Southeast Torrance.
 
Wednesday, October 2nd, 8:50PM  23200 Block Walnut Street
Suspect pulled/pried window for entry, ransacked the vehicle and took gift card and sunglasses.
 
Thursday, October 3rd, 4:00AM  2400 Block 237th Place (Pennsylvania Ave)
Suspect used a universal key fob for entry but flees without taking anything when observed by victim.
 
Saturday, October 5th 4PM to Sunday, October 6th, 9AM  2000 Block 236th St (Cabrillo)
Suspect forced sunroof open for entry and took sunglasses.

Paper Shredding and Electronics Recycling for Torrance Residents Only

City of Torrance Public Works is holding an Earth Day recycling event for free paper shredding and electronics recycling. Saturday, August 21, 2021 8 a.m. - noon Torrance City Hall East Employee Parking Lot (near Torrance Courthouse off Maple Avenue) The Recycling Event is for TORRANCE RESIDENTS ONLY.
