Del Amo Fashion Center


On Sunday, November 3rd, nearly two-dozen air conditioning units will be lifted to the roof of the Del Amo Fashion Center by helicopter from 7:00 AM to Noon.  Carson Street between Madrona Avenue and Hawthorne Blvd will be closed from 5:00 AM to Noon.
 
On Tuesday, November 6th, the Torrance Planning Commission, will consider a modification of a previously approved permit at the Del Amo Mall.  The Macy’s Home/JoAnn’s building will have the gross leasable area reduced from 220,000 square feet to 155,000 square feet and will be converted to a multi-tenant building with approximately 105,000 square feet of multi-tenant retail and 50,000 square feet of professional offices.  65,000 square feet from the Macy’s
Home/JoAnn’s building will re-allocated to the mall north of Carson Street.

Paper Shredding and Electronics Recycling for Torrance Residents Only

City of Torrance Public Works is holding an Earth Day recycling event for free paper shredding and electronics recycling.
