Report for Sunday, July 22nd through Saturday, July 28, 2012

Our three week hiatus without a reported residential burglary has ended.

Residential Burglary
7 28 12 4PM - 7 30 12  9AM   1900 231st St (Between Walnut and Cabrillo)
Sliding glass door smashed to gain entry.  House ransacked and hand guns and silver bars stolen.

Auto Burglary
7 22 12 11PM - 7 23 12 8:30AM     23400 Block Arlington Avenue
Remote, cash, vehicle registration and insurance papers taken from unlocked vehicle.

Theft - Auto
7 27 12  8AM - 5:30PM   23500 Block Crenshaw Blvd
Catalytic converter removed from vehicle.

Theft - Apartment
7 27 12 9:33PM       23300 Block Arlington
Locked bicycles taken from carport.

Theft - Residential
7 22 12  8:09PM      1800 Block 235th Street  (Between Western Ave and Walnut)
Front yard lights stolen and wiring cut.

Paper Shredding and Electronics Recycling for Torrance Residents Only

City of Torrance Public Works is holding an Earth Day recycling event for free paper shredding and electronics recycling. Saturday, August 21, 2021 8 a.m. - noon Torrance City Hall East Employee Parking Lot (near Torrance Courthouse off Maple Avenue) The Recycling Event is for TORRANCE RESIDENTS ONLY.
