 This report is for Sunday, August 2, 2020 through Saturday, August 8, 2020.
33 incidents in the Torrance Police Department Weekly Crime Log at:

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
There were 2 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
8-6 11 PM to 8-7 12 PM 1200 Block Opal St
  Suspect enters residence by unknown means and takes property/hat, shoes, game, laptop,
  jewelry, game console and marijuana.
8-7 6:30 PM to 8-8 8:30 AM  4200 Block Redondo Beach Blvd
  Suspect takes property out of victim's unlocked vehicle, uses remote to open garage and
  take property out of same/cash manual, sunglasses, and antique items.

AUTO BURGLARIES
There were 8 in Torrance and 1 in Southeast Torrance.
6 vehicles were unlocked/unsecured, 1 vehicle with smashed window and 1 vehicle unknown means of entry.
8-6 9 PM to 8/7 7 AM   24200 Block Walnut St  Purse taken out of unlocked vehicle.

AUTO THEFT
There were 8 stolen vehicles in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.

THEFT
There were 6 incidents in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
2 catalytic converters were stolen in West Torrance and 1 each in North Torrance and Seaside areas.

VANDALISM
There were 4 incidents  in Torrance and 1 in Southeast Torrance.
8-8  6:15 PM  2200 Block 229th St   Victim's metal screen door damaged.
