 This report is for Sunday, July 5, 2020 through Saturday, July 11, 2020.
The are 63 incidents in the Torrance Police Department Weekly Crime Log at:
 
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
There were 3 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
2 in North Torrance and 1 in West Torrance.
 
AUTO BURGLARIES
There were 10 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
Items stolen this week included fly rods, reels, vest with gear, framing guns, nail gun,
impact gun and other tools, cash, cell phones, tool bag tools, air pump, chargers, purses,
tote, laptop, checks, air compressor, garage remote, satchel, laptops, and wallets.
 
AUTO THEFT
There were 13 stolen vehicles in Torrance and 1 in Southeast Torrance.

THEFT
There were 17 incidents in Torrance and 2 in Southeast Torrance.
Catalytic converters were removed from 10 vehicles in North Torrance, Delthorne, Airport
Drive, Southwood Riviera, Pueblo, Southwood Sunray, Torrance Heights, Old Torrance,
Lomita Blvd & Madison and Southeast Torrance.
 
7/6 to 7/7    23100 Pennsylvania Av  Suspect took property out of victim’s purse/cash.
7/8 to 7/11  23700 Arlington Av  catalytic converter stolen.

Paper Shredding and Electronics Recycling for Torrance Residents Only

City of Torrance Public Works is holding an Earth Day recycling event for free paper shredding and electronics recycling. Saturday, August 21, 2021 8 a.m. - noon Torrance City Hall East Employee Parking Lot (near Torrance Courthouse off Maple Avenue) The Recycling Event is for TORRANCE RESIDENTS ONLY.
