Weekly Crime Report for 11 17, 2019 to 11 23, 2019

  This report is for Sunday, November 17, 2019 through Saturday, November 23, 2019. 45 incidents in the Torrance Police Department Weekly Crime Log at: https://www.torranceca.gov/home/showdocument?id=56510   RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES There were 4 in Torrance.  1 each in Southeast Torrance, Hillside, North and West Torrance.   11 23 2019   7 PM  1700 Block 236th St  Residence tented for fumigation entered.  Unknown loss.   In the Hillside burglary, suspect took property out of an unlocked vehicle and attempted to open residence door. In the North Torrance burglary, suspect attempted to force open a door and window.  No entry, no loss. Weekly Crime Report for 11-10-19 thru 11-16-19

    This report is for Sunday, November 10, 2019 through Saturday, November 16, 2019. 59 items listed in the Torrance Police Department Weekly Crime Log. RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES There were 6 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance. 2 in North Torrance, 2 in the Riviera, 1 in Torrance Heights and 1 in Country Hills.   On November 11th,  a key was used to enter a residence in the 400 Block of Paseo De La Playa, in the Riviera, and suspects took up residence in a vacation rental.  They fled with stolen electronics when confronted by a housekeeper.   AUTO BURGLARIES There were 21 in Torrance including 1 in Southeast Torrance. 11/13/2019  12:15 AM       2000 Block 238th St Battery stolen from vehicle. Santa Float in Southeast Torrance on December 4th and 5th

 The Torrance Police Officer’s Association Santa Float, in Torrance,  will begin on Saturday, November 30th, the Saturday after Thanksgiving.  Additional details can be found at:  https://torrancepoa.com/annual-events/santa-float-schedule . The schedule can be impacted by rainy weather. The Santa Float is scheduled for the following two evenings in Southeast Torrance. WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 4TH. Sepulveda Blvd to 239th Street and from Crenshaw Blvd to Arlington Avenue. Float leaves Torrance Police Department at 5 PM.
