In the North Torrance burglary, suspect attempted to force open a door and window.  No entry, no loss. RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES There were 6 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance. 2 in North Torrance, 2 in the Riviera, 1 in Torrance Heights and 1 in Country Hills.   On November 11th,  a key was used to enter a residence in the 400 Block of Paseo De La Playa, in the Riviera, and suspects took up residence in a vacation rental.  They fled with stolen electronics when confronted by a housekeeper.   AUTO BURGLARIES There were 21 in Torrance including 1 in Southeast Torrance. 11/13/2019  12:15 AM       2000 Block 238th St Battery stolen from vehicle.  The Torrance Police Officer’s Association Santa Float, in Torrance,  will begin on Saturday, November 30th, the Saturday after Thanksgiving.  Additional details can be found at:  https://torrancepoa.com/annual-events/santa-float-schedule .
