RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
There were 5 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
3 in North Torrance and 2 in the Riviera.
 
 
AUTO BURGLARIES
There were 9 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
4 vehicles were unlocked and windows were smashed in 2 vehicles for entry.
 
Items stolen included bags of recyclables, archery set, speakers, amplifiers,
keys, backpack, laptop, registration, insurance, disabled placard, and registration,
insurance, keys, charger, gift cards along with a lighter.
 
AUTO THEFT
There were 3 stolen vehicles in Torrance and 1 in Southeast Torrance.
9/17-18/2019   22900 Block Walnut St   Stolen 1998 Chevrolet Pickup
 
THEFT
There were 6 incidents in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
Delivered parcels were stolen from front porches on September 16th between
4:32 pm and 9:11 pm in North Torrance. 
 
VANDALISM
There were 11 incidents in Torrance and 1 in Southeast Torrance.
 
9/21-22/2019  23000 Block Arlington Av  Vehicle gas tank punctured.
 
9/17-18/2019  Pellet gun used to damaged windows in 4 businesses in
the 2300 Block of 208th St (just east of Crenshaw Blvd), two firms in
the 300 Block of Beech Av (just east of Crenshaw Blvd) and 2300 Block
of Dominguez Way.

This workshop will teach you the basics of backyard composting, water-wise gardening, worm composting, grasscycling, and edible gardening. This event is free and no reservation is needed. Compost bins will be available for purchase at a discount after the workshop.

Paper Shredding and Electronics Recycling for Torrance Residents Only

City of Torrance Public Works is holding an Earth Day recycling event for free paper shredding and electronics recycling. Saturday, August 21, 2021 8 a.m. - noon Torrance City Hall East Employee Parking Lot (near Torrance Courthouse off Maple Avenue) The Recycling Event is for TORRANCE RESIDENTS ONLY.
