RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
There were 3 in Torrance.
1 in Southeast Torrance, 1 in North Torrance and 1 in Country Hills.
 
Friday, June 8th, 10 AM to 4:12 PM  2000 Block Middlebrook Road (Cabrillo to Arlington)
Suspect entered unsecured window and took toy cars.
 
AUTO BURGLARY
There were 6 in Torrance and 1 in Southeast Torrance.
Friday, June 8th, 1:50 AM, 22600 Block Pennsylvania Avenue
Door lock defeated for entry with sunglasses and garage remote stolen.
 
AUTO THEFT
There were 5 in Torrance and 1 in Southeast Torrance.
Saturday, June 9th, 9:20 PM, 24700 Western Avenue, stolen 97 Ford F250 pickup.
 
THEFT
There were 23 incidents in Torrance and 3 in Southeast Torrance.
Friday, June 8th, 11:05 AM, 1700 Block 236th St (Western to Falena)
Delivered parcels taken from front porch. 
 
Sunday, June 3rd, Overnight, 23600 Block Cabrillo Avenue
Battery stolen from car.
 
June 5th to June 7th     2300 Block 236th Place (Arlington to Pennsylvania)
Suspect posing as computer service representative calls victim advising he
will deposit funds in her account as part of a refund and she is to return
the excess funds using Wal-Mart, Target and Best Buy gift cards. 
 
During this week, wheels/tires were removed from one vehicle, batteries were
stolen from 5 vehicles and catalytic converters were stolen from 3 vehicles in
Torrance.

Southeast Torrance 7 12 5PM 2400 Block 235th Place Suspect entered open garage, entered residence via open access door, fled when resident yelled at him. No property loss Old Torrance 7 12 1AM 800 Block Portola Ave Suspected entered residence via unlocked door and fled when victim woke up in the bedroom. Hillside 7 16 2:44AM 2500 Ridgeland Rd Glass Panel removed to unlock door for entry, Suspects fled when victim awoke, screamed and chased them out of the residence. This highlighted report is for Sunday, June 20, 2021 through Friday, June 25, 2021. 55 items in the Torrance Police Department Weekly Crime Log at: https://www.torranceca.gov/home/showpublisheddocument/66806 RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES There were 3 in Torrance. 1 each in North, Southeast and Southwood. On 6/21 between 6 am and 11 am, 22900 Block of Arlington, suspect forces open door and took game consoles, TV, jewelry box and jewelry. On 6/21 at approx 3:25 am, 3700 Block of Artesia Blvd, multiple mailboxes were pried open and mail and parcels were stolen. Betweeen 6/23 and 6/25, 21300 Anza Ave, residence was entered by unknown means and ransacked. Property taken from inside the house and driveway included a TV, printer, cattle skull, electric guitars, tools, clothes, jewelry, speakers, pool cues and two automobiles - 08 BMW335i and a 05 Nissan Altima.
