Update on Torrance Election



Torrance had 82,722 registered voters. Percentages of Torrance voters who voted is not yet available.
 
The canvass of provisional and vote by mail ballots is not complete. The first ballot counting update will be this Friday, 6/8/18 at approximately 1 p.m, and will occur every Tuesday and Friday until June 29, 2018 when the Los Angeles County Registrar/Recorder is tentatively scheduled to certify election results. 

The voter roster print error that occurred in Los Angeles County was found at only 5 precincts in Torrance. There was only 1 voter left off the roster in each of the 5 precincts for a total of 5 voters affected in Torrance.

The Torrance City Clerk will bring a Resolution to the Torrance City Council on Tuesday, July 10, 2018, declaring the results of the 2018 Election and Installation of Officers. The City Clerk will give the oath of office and make presentation of Certificates of Election to the duly elected officers.

Paper Shredding and Electronics Recycling for Torrance Residents Only

City of Torrance Public Works is holding an Earth Day recycling event for free paper shredding and electronics recycling.
