There were 58 incidents on the log.
 
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
There were 4 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
1 each in Southwood Riviera, North, Delthorne and Hollywood Riviera.
 
AUTO BURGLARIES
There were 19 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
3 vehicles were unlocked, 5 vehicles had smashed windows for entry, and 6 vehicles were
entered by unknown means.
 
Items stolen included a briefcase, laptop, checkbooks, another laptop, cameras, video
camera, bag of cosmetics, cell phone, another briefcase, laptop, wireless mouse, another
checkbook, purse, keys, remote, another purse, car title, backpack, headphones, another
laptop, another backpack, clothes, tools, more headphones, cash, registration, insurance,
suitcases, computers, another purse, registration, gate remote, license plate, third row seat,
another backpack, medication, wallet, another purse and a cell phone. 
 
AUTO THEFT
There were 6 stolen vehicles and none in Southeast Torrance.
 
THEFT
There were 14 incidents including 3 delivered parcels/mail taken in North Torrance and
at The Village on Oak north of Wilson Park.

Paper Shredding and Electronics Recycling for Torrance Residents Only

City of Torrance Public Works is holding an Earth Day recycling event for free paper shredding and electronics recycling. Saturday, August 21, 2021 8 a.m. - noon Torrance City Hall East Employee Parking Lot (near Torrance Courthouse off Maple Avenue) The Recycling Event is for TORRANCE RESIDENTS ONLY.
