Weekly Crime Report for Southeast Torrance


  
This report is for Sunday, May 29, 2016 through Saturday, June 4, 2016.
37 incidents were reported to the Torrance Police Department.
 
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
There was one in North Torrance.
 
AUTO BURGLARIES
There were eight in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
 
The following items were left in vehicles to be stolen:
Backpacks, Garment bag, Tablet, Wallet, Leaf blower, Shoes, Purse,
Third Row Seat, Clothes and Food.
 
AUTO THEFT
There were eleven vehicles stolen in Torrance and seven of them
were taken in daylight hours.  One vehicle was stolen in Southeast
Torrance between 10:30 PM, June 2nd and 7:50 AM, June 3rd in
the 24200 Block of Huber Avenue.

Paper Shredding and Electronics Recycling for Torrance Residents Only

City of Torrance Public Works is holding an Earth Day recycling event for free paper shredding and electronics recycling. Saturday, August 21, 2021 8 a.m. - noon Torrance City Hall East Employee Parking Lot (near Torrance Courthouse off Maple Avenue) The Recycling Event is for TORRANCE RESIDENTS ONLY.
