Weekly Crime Report for Southeast Torrance


This report is for Sunday, September 27th through Saturday, October 3, 2015

 

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES

There were 3 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.

1 in Hollywood Riviera where entry was made via a kitchen window and jewelry was stolen.

1 in North Torrance where the suspect attempted to pry open a door but did not gain entry.

1 in the Hickory School area where the suspect entered via a garage pet door of a vacant residence

   and took a saw.

 

AUTO BURGLARIES

There were 12 in Torrance and 1 in Southeast Torrance.  6 of the vehicles were unlocked.

23700 Block Cypress St      Tuesday, September 29th, 7 PM to 11 PM,

Suspect entered unlocked vehicle and took cash, DVD’s, DVD player, and electronic games.

 

AUTO THEFT

4 vehicles were stolen in Torrance and 2 were in Southeast Torrance.

1900 Block 235th Place  9 28 15 6PM to 9 29 15 6AM   2008 Chevrolet Pickup

23700 Western Ave       9 28 15 10PM to 9 29 15 3AM  93 Demco Trailer

 

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY THIS WEEK

1900 Block of 234th St (Walnut-Cabrillo)  Wednesday, October 7th, 8AM to 6PM

Paper Shredding and Electronics Recycling for Torrance Residents Only

City of Torrance Public Works is holding an Earth Day recycling event for free paper shredding and electronics recycling.
