RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
There were 2 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
Both burglaries involved lockbox entries with various appliances stolen from the homes.
 
AUTO BURGLARIES
There were 10 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
4 reports were for stolen third row seats from parked vehicles in the Del Amo Fashion Center
area.
 
AUTO THEFT
There were 3 reports of stolen vehicles and none in Southeast Torrance.
 
THEFT
June 27th to June 29th                   23200 Block Falena Avenue      Machinery removed from rear yard.
 
Friday, June 26th, 10:28 AM           23600 Block Cabrillo Ave          Suspect took victim’s wallet.
 
VANDALISM
 
Tuesday, June 23rd, 11:09 AM        236th and Walnut St                Suspect graffiti's fence.

This report is for Sunday, July 11, 2021 through Saturday, July 17, 2021. 45 incidents reported in the City of Torrance Crime Log at: https://www.torranceca.gov/home/showpublisheddocument/67336/637625553607530000 RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES There were 3 in Torrance. 1 each in Southeast Torrance, Old Torrance and the Hillside area. Southeast Torrance 7 12 5PM 2400 Block 235th Place Suspect entered open garage, entered residence via open access door, fled when resident yelled at him. No property loss Old Torrance 7 12 1AM 800 Block Portola Ave Suspected entered residence via unlocked door and fled when victim woke up in the bedroom. Hillside 7 16 2:44AM 2500 Ridgeland Rd Glass Panel removed to unlock door for entry, Suspects fled when victim awoke, screamed and chased them out of the residence.
