SETHA EMAIL - Residential Break-In Marble Estates Area


Wednesday, July 15th, 4:34PM to 4:47 PM, Residence,  Iris Avenue and Hickory Avenue.
South of King’s Hawaiian Restaurant and north of Hickory Elementary School
Suspects vehicle:  Older model 4 door sedan, grey with black wheels, Arizona license plates
                              possibly a Buick.  (See video)
3 suspects in the vehicle but only two entered the property through a unlocked side gate.
It appears one of the suspects was wearing a doo rag.  A doo rag is a scarf tied on your head
with the tails or long hair coming out the back.  Another person driving the car, possibly a female.
See the attached videos for a more detailed description.  No information on the property loss.
Friday, July 17th, 3PM,   Fern Avenue, three blocks east of the above robbed house.
A grey car was observed driving up and down Fern Avenue slowly.  Female driving the car
and a man in the back seat.  Torrance Police were called and a suspect, young African-American
with “loud clothes and a Doo Rag” was observed walking along Fern Avenue. 
The grey vehicle is the same vehicle in the video and one of the suspects is shown in the video from
the Wednesday break-in.

Southeast Torrance 7 12 5PM 2400 Block 235th Place Suspect entered open garage, entered residence via open access door, fled when resident yelled at him. No property loss Old Torrance 7 12 1AM 800 Block Portola Ave Suspected entered residence via unlocked door and fled when victim woke up in the bedroom. Hillside 7 16 2:44AM 2500 Ridgeland Rd Glass Panel removed to unlock door for entry, Suspects fled when victim awoke, screamed and chased them out of the residence.
