This report is for Sunday, August 25th through Saturday, August 31, 2013 for reported incidents.

 
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY


There were 6 residential burglaries in the City of Torrance and one was in Southeast Torrance.
Saturday, August 30th   4:36PM  2000 Block 235th Place (Walnut to Cabrillo)
Suspect entered unlocked side door to garage and took bicycle.

AUTO BURGLARY

There were 17 auto burglaries in the City of Torrance and none reported in Southeast Torrance.

SIMPLE BATTERY

Saturday, August 30th     8:14PM     231st Street and Arlington Avenue
Suspect punches victim in the face and causes him to fall to the ground.

City of Torrance Public Works is holding an Earth Day recycling event for free paper shredding and electronics recycling.
