September 7th and 8th Road Construction at Crenshaw Blvd and Lomita Blvd

On Saturday Sept. 7 at 7PM, the cities of Torrance and Lomita will begin pavement repairs in the Crenshaw Blvd/Lomita Blvd intersection.  Work will continue overnight into Sunday until approximately 6PM.

The work requires a closure of eastbound and westbound Lomita Blvd at Crenshaw Blvd.  Multiple travel and turn lanes on Crenshaw Blvd will be closed. Travel delays are expected.  Traffic impacts are as follows:

Crenshaw Blvd (both directions): Will be reduced to 1 travel lane in each direction.  Left and right turn lanes will be closed and left/right turn movements onto Lomita Blvd will be prohibited.

Lomita Blvd (eastbound at intersection): Will be closed to all traffic for the entire duration of work.  Eastbound traffic will be detoured onto Garnier St south to Skypark Dr.  Local access will be provided up to the Crossroads driveway, west of the intersection.

Lomita Blvd (westbound at intersection): Will be closed to all traffic for the entire duration of work. Westbound traffic will be detoured on to Pennsylvania Ave.
