Weekly Crime Report for Southeast Torrance


This report is for Sunday, September 15, 2013 through Saturday, September 21, 2013

 

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES

There were 8 residential burglaries in Torrance and 3 in Southeast Torrance.  There
were no residential burglaries in Lomita.

1900 Block 235th St (Walnut)    Thursday, September 19th    6:25 AM to 2 PM
Screen removed, window forced open with cash, laptop, cell phone and pillow cases taken.

1900 Block 237th St (Walnut)    Thursday, September 19th    2:50 PM to 6 PM
Residence entered by unknown means with duffel, laptop, MP3, electronic scales, wallets and cologne taken.

2400 Block 234th St ( Pennsylvania)   Friday, September 20th, 6:30 PM to 10 PM
Screen removed, open window used for entry but suspect flees without taking any property
when detected by victim inside the residence.

Paper Shredding and Electronics Recycling for Torrance Residents Only

City of Torrance Public Works is holding an Earth Day recycling event for free paper shredding and electronics recycling. Saturday, August 21, 2021 8 a.m. - noon Torrance City Hall East Employee Parking Lot (near Torrance Courthouse off Maple Avenue) The Recycling Event is for TORRANCE RESIDENTS ONLY.
