THE MEETING WILL BE HELD IN THE LOMITA CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS, 24300 NARBONNE AV, LOMITA AT 7PM. PARKING IS ON THE EAST SIDE OF THE LOMITA CITY HALL.
Residents of Southeast Torrance need to attend this Lomita City Council meeting on November 19th and voice their concerns about the impact of this high school on their neighborhood.
This high school was originally to be built on the proposed high density Ponte Vista site on Western Avenue in San Pedro.
The entrance to this high school would be on Walnut Street, the Torrance/Lomita city limits border. In addition to students, parents and staff vehicles would be impacting Walnut and surrounding streets in Torrance.
Los Angeles Unified School District did not ask the city of Lomita to come up with the land.
Plan to attend, speak up, and be heard at the meeting.
