RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
There were 2 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
2/18 10PM to 2/19 6AM 2500 Block 235th St
Suspect enters garage by unknown means, enters unlocked vehicle in
the garage, ransacks and took garage remote.
2/18 12:17 AM 2600 Block Loftyview Drive (Hillside area)
Suspect takes property out of vehicle, uses remote to enter garage and
take additional property/vehicle: garage remote, checkbooks, garage:
laptop, monitor, keyboard, mouse and headphones.
AUTO BURGLARIES
There were 11 in Torrance and 1 in Southeast Torrance.
2/18 8PM to 2/19 9AM 1900 Block 237th St
Tools taken out of unlocked vehicle.
5 vehicles were unlocked, windows were broken in 3 vehicles and unknown
means of entry in 2 vehicles.
Items stolen included ammunition, tablet, registration, manual, charger, tools,
money bag, cell phone, sunglasses, cash, jewelry, backpack, wallets, impact
drill, cell phone, keys, knife set and jacket.
AUTO THEFT
There were 7 in Torrance, including 2 motorcycles and 1 in Southeast Torrance.
2/17 6:46AM 230 and Arlington Stolen 2016 Yamaha motorcycle
THEFT
There were 14 incidents in Torrance including 10 stolen catalytic converters.
2/14 Noontime 24300 Block Crenshaw Suspect took wallet out of victim's purse
while she was shopping.
