RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
There were 4 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
2 in Old Torrance and 2 in North Torrance. A pet dog was taken from a home in North Torrance.
AUTO BURGLARIES
There were 9 in Torrance and 1 in Southeast Torrance.
8/28 8PM to 8/29 10AM 2300 229th St Suspect entered unlocked vehicle and took cash, charger, multi-tool and sunglasses.
2 vehicles were unlocked.
AUTO THEFT
12 vehicles were stolen in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
THEFT
There were 3 incidents in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
2 catalytic converters were stolen from vehicles and multiple mailboxes were opened in the 17500 Block of Van Ness Avenue.
VANDALISM
There were 5 incidents in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
Multiple windows were smashed in a parked vehicle, a window in a business was smashed, spray paint was
used to graffiti a staircase and sign, trees were cut and a billboard was tagged with spray paint.
