The Great American Take Out



 
A national coalition of restaurants has organized “The Great American Takeout” on Tuesday, March 24, asking Americans to order at least one delivery or pickup meal on Tuesday to show support for the restaurant industry.
 
Many of our favorite restaurants in Torrance are still working hard to keep us fed and the only way to support these struggling businesses is to order takeout or delivery. 

Staying home doesn't mean you have to miss out on "Taco Tuesday" or your favorite weekly specials; order takeout, delivery or curbside pickup and be part of something bigger: #TheGreatAmericanTakeout

Be sure to show your support for the great breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert and pantry options being offered here in Torrance.  Call your favorite restaurant and place an order.

Paper Shredding and Electronics Recycling for Torrance Residents Only

City of Torrance Public Works is holding an Earth Day recycling event for free paper shredding and electronics recycling. Saturday, August 21, 2021 8 a.m. - noon Torrance City Hall East Employee Parking Lot (near Torrance Courthouse off Maple Avenue) The Recycling Event is for TORRANCE RESIDENTS ONLY.
