Alleged Porch Pirate Suspect Arrested by Lomita Sheriff's and Torrance Police


Lomita Sheriff’s Station recently received numerous reports of package thefts in Rancho Palos Verdes and Rolling Hills Estates. After reviewing security footage, Lomita Detectives were able to identify a suspect and a suspect vehicle. Lomita Sheriff detectives located the suspect and amazingly observed him commit several more package thefts in the South Bay area.
With help from Torrance Police, Lomita Sheriff detectives and the Torrance officers were able to detain the suspect. A search of the suspect’s vehicle resulted in several stolen packages among other stolen property. Detectives executed a search warrant at the suspect’s residence and recovered additional stolen packages and property.
