 This report is for Sunday, June 9, 2019 through Saturday, June 15, 2019.
There are 45 incidents in the Torrance Police Department Weekly Crime Log at:
 
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
There were 2 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
1 in North Torrance and 1 in the Riviera.
 
AUTO BURGLARIES
There were 14 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
 
On Sunday, June 9th, at Torrance Beach, 300 Block of Paseo de La Playa,
between 8 AM and 9:13 AM, a suspect took unattended property off the
beach, used the car key to enter victims’ vehicle and took a backpack, cell
phone, vehicle key and wallet.
 
AUTO THEFT
There were 5 stolen vehicles in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
 
THEFT
There were 12 incidents in Torrance and 3 batteries were stolen from vehicles
in Southeast Torrance.
 
June 11th to June 13th       237th and Walnut St, 1900 Block 234th St and 2100 Block 230th Place.

Paper Shredding and Electronics Recycling for Torrance Residents Only

City of Torrance Public Works is holding an Earth Day recycling event for free paper shredding and electronics recycling. Saturday, August 21, 2021 8 a.m. - noon Torrance City Hall East Employee Parking Lot (near Torrance Courthouse off Maple Avenue) The Recycling Event is for TORRANCE RESIDENTS ONLY.
