RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
There were 4 in Torrance.  1 in Southeast Torrance and 3 in North Torrance.
 
2/18/19 to 2/22/19 2400 Block 236th Place (Pennsylvania Ave to Crenshaw Blvd)
Pedestrian garage door forced open and water pumps, money scale and brushes stolen.
 
2/19/19 6:10 PM  2600 Block of 177th St in North Torrance  Window smashed for entry, property
ransacked, suspect fled with jewelry when victim returned home. 
 
AUTO BURGLARIES
There were 23 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
8 vehicles were unlocked and windows smashed for entry in 5 vehicles. 
 
AUTO THEFT
There were 4 stolen vehicles in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
 
THEFT
There were 18 reported incidents and none in Southeast Torrance.
License plate stolen from parked vehicle, two bicycles stolen, a catalytic converter was
removed from a vehicle, batteries removed from 3 vehicles in North Torrance, tires and
wheels removed from 2 vehicles in the 4300 Block of 180th St and the 3500 Block of Carson St,
and a delivered parcel was taken from the front porch in the 1200 Block of Acacia Avenue.
 
VANDALISM
There were 11 reported incidents and none in Southeast Torrance.
5 businesses had windows damaged from a pellet gun on Saturday, February 23rd from 1 AM to
1:15 AM in the 21700, 21800 and 22100 Blocks of Hawthorne Blvd.

Southeast Torrance 7 12 5PM 2400 Block 235th Place Suspect entered open garage, entered residence via open access door, fled when resident yelled at him. No property loss Old Torrance 7 12 1AM 800 Block Portola Ave Suspected entered residence via unlocked door and fled when victim woke up in the bedroom. Hillside 7 16 2:44AM 2500 Ridgeland Rd Glass Panel removed to unlock door for entry, Suspects fled when victim awoke, screamed and chased them out of the residence.
