RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
There were 5 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
2 in North Torrance, 1 each in Southwood Sunray, Riviera and Madrona areas.
 
AUTO BURGLARIES
There were only 5 reported in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
 
AUTO THEFT
There were 6 stolen vehicles and none in Southeast Torrance.
 
THEFT
There were 12 incidents in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
 
11 10 18     3600 Block Torrance Blvd   Suspect entered open business and   wheeled out a dryer.

11  9  18     1700 Block Fern Av    Suspect attached jumper cables to victim’s electrical box in order to steal electricity.

11 8/9 18                          22800 Block Nadine Circle            Suspect took mailbox off wall.

11 6 18  1:40PM to 4PM  1100 Block Patronella Av (Madrona area)     Delivered parcels stolen from porch.

11 6 18  3:34PM               2600 Block El Dorado (Madrona area)           Delivered parcel stolen from porch.

11 5/6 18                          3600 Block Spencer St (Delthorne area)        Mailbox forced open and mail stolen.

Paper Shredding and Electronics Recycling for Torrance Residents Only

City of Torrance Public Works is holding an Earth Day recycling event for free paper shredding and electronics recycling. Saturday, August 21, 2021 8 a.m. - noon Torrance City Hall East Employee Parking Lot (near Torrance Courthouse off Maple Avenue) The Recycling Event is for TORRANCE RESIDENTS ONLY.
