This report is for Sunday, June 26, 2016 through Saturday, July 2, 2016.
There were 47 incidents reported.
 
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
There were none reported in Torrance.
 
AUTO BURGLARIES
There were 6 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
4 vehicles were not secured and windows were smashed in 2 vehicles to gain entry.
Items stolen included:  Cash, Chargers, Laptop, Tablet, Purses, Speakers, Clothes,
Handicap Placard, GPS, Keys, Sunglasses, Computer monitor, Registration, Insurance
papers, CDs, and headphones.
 
AUTO THEFT
There were 7 vehicles stolen in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
 
THEFT
14 items were taken including 8 unattended items:  Backpacks, Wallets,
Hat, Keys, Sunglasses, Cellphones, Purses, Cash and a Bicycle.

Paper Shredding and Electronics Recycling for Torrance Residents Only

City of Torrance Public Works is holding an Earth Day recycling event for free paper shredding and electronics recycling. Saturday, August 21, 2021 8 a.m. - noon Torrance City Hall East Employee Parking Lot (near Torrance Courthouse off Maple Avenue) The Recycling Event is for TORRANCE RESIDENTS ONLY.
