A consultant for the City of Lomita is currently preparing the
environmental document.
It will not get to a hearing until sometime later this year or early next
year.
The proposed project is a five-story, 236 unit apartment building with two
floors of
subterranean parking. About 10% of the units will be studios, 55% will be
one-bedroom
and 35% will be two-bedrooms with 426 parking spaces. The intersection is
a “F” rated
intersection by the city of Torrance.
