Weekly Crime Report for Southeast Torrance


This report is for the period for Sunday, June 14, 2015 through Saturday, June 20, 2015.
 
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
There were 5 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
 
In one incident in North Torrance, suspect cut the sliding door screen and pried the
sliding glass door but did not gain entry.  In the other North Torrance attempt, suspect
removed three window screens, opened window and fled when the burglar alarm activated.
In the Old Torrance attempt, the suspect attempted to kick in the door but did not gain entry.
In the De Portola Park area attempt, the suspect smashed a sliding glass door and fled when
a resident inside the house woke up.
 
AUTO BURGLARY
There were 8 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
 
AUTO THEFT
There were 6 incidents in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
 
THEFT
Tuesday, June 16, 11 AM to 6 PM.  23600 Block Pennsylvania Avenue

This highlighted report is for Sunday, June 20, 2021 through Friday, June 25, 2021. 55 items in the Torrance Police Department Weekly Crime Log at: https://www.torranceca.gov/home/showpublisheddocument/66806 RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES There were 3 in Torrance. 1 each in North, Southeast and Southwood. On 6/21 between 6 am and 11 am, 22900 Block of Arlington, suspect forces open door and took game consoles, TV, jewelry box and jewelry. On 6/21 at approx 3:25 am, 3700 Block of Artesia Blvd, multiple mailboxes were pried open and mail and parcels were stolen. Betweeen 6/23 and 6/25, 21300 Anza Ave, residence was entered by unknown means and ransacked. Property taken from inside the house and driveway included a TV, printer, cattle skull, electric guitars, tools, clothes, jewelry, speakers, pool cues and two automobiles - 08 BMW335i and a 05 Nissan Altima.
