Weekly Crime Report for Southeast Torrance

 
This report is for Sunday, May 10, 2015 through Saturday, May 16, 2015
 
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
There were 3 in Torrance and they all were in North Torrance.  In one incident,
a window was unlocked and a second floor patio door was open in another.
 
AUTO BURGLARY
There were 9 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance. 
Catalytic converters were stolen from 3 vehicles including 1 in Southeast Torrance
on Wednesday, May 13th at 3:08 AM at 233rd and Walnut St.  A third row seat
was removed in another incident.
 
AUTO THEFT
There were 7 stolen vehicles in Torrance and 1 in Southeast Torrance.
Saturday, May 16th, 4 PM to 5PM, 1900 Block Sepulveda Blvd  Stolen 85 Toyota pickup.

Paper Shredding and Electronics Recycling for Torrance Residents Only

City of Torrance Public Works is holding an Earth Day recycling event for free paper shredding and electronics recycling. Saturday, August 21, 2021 8 a.m. - noon Torrance City Hall East Employee Parking Lot (near Torrance Courthouse off Maple Avenue) The Recycling Event is for TORRANCE RESIDENTS ONLY.
