Torrance Armed Forces Day Parade

On Saturday, May 21st at 1:30 PM, the City of Torrance will continue the tradition of hosting the Armed Forces Day Parade, as it has done for the past 52 years!
Torrance has proudly honored the men and women in the United States Military with the annual Armed Forces Day Parade and celebration -- our parade has the distinction of being the longest-running military parade in the nation!
Each year the
parade honors a specific branch of the Armed Forces -- this year we'll pay tribute to the United States Army. Grand Marshal, General Robert W. Cone, will lead over 50 entries, which will include the military personnel, equipment, veterans, and local bands.
The parade will start at Crenshaw Blvd., head westbound on Torrance Blvd. and end at Madrona Ave. Just so you know, all streets intersecting the parade route will be closed to through traffic for most of the day.
