City of Torrance Police Department Weekly Crime Log 5/15/2011-5/21/2011 for SE Torrance

Auto Burglary  2400 Block Sepulveda (between Penn and Crenshaw)
                          Suspect smashed window and took property, laptop, etc.
Auto Burglary  2200 Block 239th St (between Arlington and Penn)
                         Suspect smashed window and took unknown property.
Theft                 2200 Block 229th St (between Arlington and Penn)
                          Suspect took property off victim's front porch.
Auto Burglary   2200 Block 232nd St (between Arlington and Penn)
                          Suspect opened unlocked vehicle.  Ransacked, head rests, jackets, glasses
                          and other property taken along with registration.
Auto Burglary  2200 Block 229th Place (between Arlington and Penn)
                          Suspect opened unlocked vehicle and took property, briefcase, camera, IPod, keys.
Theft                 23800 Block Pennsylvania Ave
                          Suspect attempted to remove artificial turf from front yard.

Paper Shredding and Electronics Recycling for Torrance Residents Only

City of Torrance Public Works is holding an Earth Day recycling event for free paper shredding and electronics recycling. Saturday, August 21, 2021 8 a.m. - noon Torrance City Hall East Employee Parking Lot (near Torrance Courthouse off Maple Avenue) The Recycling Event is for TORRANCE RESIDENTS ONLY.
