RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
There were 5 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
2 in the Madrona area and 1 each in Seaside, Riviera and Walteria.
 
AUTO BURGLARIES
There were 12 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
 
On Sunday, March 24th at approximately 12:20PM, two incidents were
reported in the 2600 Block of Lomita Blvd (Costco).  Suspect or suspects
took purses out of vehicle as the victim was loading groceries in the vehicle.
 
AUTO THEFT
There were 9 stolen vehicles in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
 
THEFT
There were 9 incidents in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance. 
No reports of porch piracy.

Paper Shredding and Electronics Recycling for Torrance Residents Only

City of Torrance Public Works is holding an Earth Day recycling event for free paper shredding and electronics recycling. Saturday, August 21, 2021 8 a.m. - noon Torrance City Hall East Employee Parking Lot (near Torrance Courthouse off Maple Avenue) The Recycling Event is for TORRANCE RESIDENTS ONLY.
