50 incidents were listed on the Torrance Police Weekly Crime Log at
 
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
There were 5 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
2 in the Seaside area, 2 in North Torrance and 1 in Southwood. A 2001
Chevrolet Suburban was also stolen from one of the Seaside homes using
keys found in the residence.
 
AUTO BURGLARIES
There were 18 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
7 were in Southwood Riveria and windows were smashed to gain entry
in all those vehicles.
 
AUTO THEFT
There were 5 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
 
THEFT
There were 7 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
1 incident of porch piracy in the 3500 Block of Emerald St.
 
AGGRESSIVE BATTERY-WEAPON
1 incident in Southeast Torrance.
1 11 2019  227th and Crenshaw Blvd  Suspect closed car door on victim’s leg.
 
SIMPLE BATTERY
There were 3 incidents in Torrance and 1 in Southeast Torrance.
1 12 2019   2000 Block 238th St  Suspect threw cup of coffee at victim.
 
VANDALISM
There were 6 incidents in Torrance and 1 in Southeast Torrance.
1 7 2019  11PM  22500 Crenshaw Blvd  Pellet gun used to damaged commercial bldg.

Southeast Torrance 7 12 5PM 2400 Block 235th Place Suspect entered open garage, entered residence via open access door, fled when resident yelled at him. No property loss Old Torrance 7 12 1AM 800 Block Portola Ave Suspected entered residence via unlocked door and fled when victim woke up in the bedroom. Hillside 7 16 2:44AM 2500 Ridgeland Rd Glass Panel removed to unlock door for entry, Suspects fled when victim awoke, screamed and chased them out of the residence.
