RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
There were 4 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
1 each in North, Madrona, Seaside and Southwood Riviera.
 
AUTO BURGLARIES
There were 10 in Torrance and 1 in Southeast Torrance.
 
9 17 18 Noon to 9 18 18 PM  2000 Block 234th St (Cabrillo-Arlington)
                                                Dental goggles and sunglasses taken from possibly unsecured vehicle.
 
AUTO THEFT
There were 8 stolen vehicles in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
 
THEFT
There were 9 incidents and none in Southeast Torrance.
Catalytic converters were taken from vehicles in the Delthorne Park and Madrona areas.
 
HEAVY POLICE ACTIVITY IN THE HOLLYWOOD RIVIERA.
On Saturday, September 30, 2018, starting at approximately 8:50PM, police from Torrance,
Redondo Beach, Manhattan Beach, Gardena and Inglewood along with Air Support responded
to a residential burglary in the area of Palos Verdes Blvd and Calle Mayor.
 
3 suspects were taken into custody with no remaining outstanding suspects.

City of Torrance Public Works is holding an Earth Day recycling event for free paper shredding and electronics recycling. Saturday, August 21, 2021 8 a.m. - noon Torrance City Hall East Employee Parking Lot (near Torrance Courthouse off Maple Avenue) The Recycling Event is for TORRANCE RESIDENTS ONLY.
