RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
There was 1 in Torrance.
9 30 2017  8 PM    Hollywood Riviera    500 Block Calle Mayor
Suspect removed screen on open window for entry, ransacked property and possibly
interrupted by victim returning home.  No loss.
 
AUTO BURGLARY
There were 14 in Torrance and 1 in Southeast Torrance.
9 25 2017  11 AM to 9 26 2017  9:30 AM  24200 Huber Avenue
Suspect took property from unlocked vehicle/sunglasses, wallet, fidget spinner and challenge coin.
 
Items stolen this week included tools, backpack, purses ( ), dvd’s, shoes, jacket, registration (2), seat, headrest,
center console, stereo, laptop, case, eye glasses, notary bag, notary stamps, notary log, Bible, school supplies,
bag, clothes, flashlights, garage remote, wallet, key, clothes, electronics, jewelry, luggage, oxygen tank and patient files.
 
5 vehicles were unsecured/unlocked, windows were smashed in 5 vehicles , 2 were unknown entry and 1 door lock was punched.
 
AUTO THEFT
There were 4 stolen vehicles in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
 
THEFT
There were 15 incidents reported and none in Southeast Torrance.
Catalytic converters were stolen from 4 vehicles in North Torrance. 
 
COMMERCIAL BURGLARIES
There were 7 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
Door glass was smashed in 5 businesses for entry.

This highlighted report is for Sunday, June 20, 2021 through Friday, June 25, 2021. 55 items in the Torrance Police Department Weekly Crime Log at: https://www.torranceca.gov/home/showpublisheddocument/66806 RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES There were 3 in Torrance. 1 each in North, Southeast and Southwood. On 6/21 between 6 am and 11 am, 22900 Block of Arlington, suspect forces open door and took game consoles, TV, jewelry box and jewelry. On 6/21 at approx 3:25 am, 3700 Block of Artesia Blvd, multiple mailboxes were pried open and mail and parcels were stolen. Betweeen 6/23 and 6/25, 21300 Anza Ave, residence was entered by unknown means and ransacked. Property taken from inside the house and driveway included a TV, printer, cattle skull, electric guitars, tools, clothes, jewelry, speakers, pool cues and two automobiles - 08 BMW335i and a 05 Nissan Altima.
