 The Lomita Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at 6:30 PM on Monday, August 14, 2017 in the Lomita City Hall Council Chambers, 24300 Narbonne Avenue, to consider the Picerne Lomita Apartments Project.
 
The developer has made very minor changes reducing the number of units from 223 to 220 units and eliminating one level of subterranean parking.  Additional details on the project can be found in the two links below.
 
 
The Final Environmental Impact Report on the project is completed and this is the link to the 568 page EIR:
 
Speakers will be allowed five (5) minutes to speak before the Lomita Planning Commission.  At the public hearing you may appear and be heard or you may write to the City of Lomita Community Development Department, 24300 Narbonne Avenue, Lomita, CA  90717 in support of or in opposition to the project. 
 
On or about five days before the August 14th hearing date you can review project materials including the staff report and proposed
plans on the City of Lomita website.

City of Torrance Public Works is holding an Earth Day recycling event for free paper shredding and electronics recycling.
