Weekly Crime Report for Southeast Torrance

 This report is for Sunday, January 1, 2017 through Saturday, January 7, 2017.
There were 44 incidents reported to Torrance Police during the week.
 
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
There was one in the Torrance Heights Civic area which is west of New Horizons,
and south of Sepulveda Blvd.
 
AUTO BURGLARY
There were 7 in Torrance and 1 in Southeast Torrance.
1/1/2017  11:45 PM  1900 Block 232nd Street
Vehicle ransacked and wallet stolen.
 
AUTO THEFT
There were 6 in Torrance and 1 in Southeast Torrance.
1/2/2017   4:30 PM to 1/3/2017  7 AM  22900 Walnut St
2001 Chevrolet Camaro stolen.

Paper Shredding and Electronics Recycling for Torrance Residents Only

City of Torrance Public Works is holding an Earth Day recycling event for free paper shredding and electronics recycling. Saturday, August 21, 2021 8 a.m. - noon Torrance City Hall East Employee Parking Lot (near Torrance Courthouse off Maple Avenue) The Recycling Event is for TORRANCE RESIDENTS ONLY.
