41 items were listed on the weekly report.
 
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
There were 3 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
1 each in North Torrance, Hollywood Riviera and Southwood.
 
AUTO BURGLARIES
There were 14 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
8 were during daylight hours and 6 when it was dark.  4 vehicles
were unlocked and windows were smashed for entry in 3 vehicles.
This is a list of the items stolen from the vehicles.
Third Row Seat, Duffel, Back Braces, Blanket,  Backpacks, Registration,
Insurance, Vehicle Battery, Clothes, Shoes, Gloves, Ammunition, MP3,
Tools, Stereos and Three Purses.
 
AUTO THEFT
There were 2 vehicles stolen in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.

Paper Shredding and Electronics Recycling for Torrance Residents Only

City of Torrance Public Works is holding an Earth Day recycling event for free paper shredding and electronics recycling. Saturday, August 21, 2021 8 a.m. - noon Torrance City Hall East Employee Parking Lot (near Torrance Courthouse off Maple Avenue) The Recycling Event is for TORRANCE RESIDENTS ONLY.
