AIRPORT NOISE HEARING BOARD
At the hearing today, the Board heard one case where the pilot and aircraft had 12 violations in the past 7 years without
any enforcement action.  The aircraft registered 90.4 SENEL dBa on one of the noise monitors which exceeds the 88 SENEL dBa
limits for a Sunday morning.  Action was taken for the violation.  During the same flight, the aircraft made an early left turn
but no action was taken.  Aircraft are supposed to climb to 1500 ft or cross the shoreline when taking off to the west before
turning left.  However, the City does not enforce that part of the noise ordinance.

In the second case, the pilot and aircraft have had 12 violations in the past 2 years for noise and curfew violations.  Action was
taken for the violation and if another violation occurs within a 3 year period, the aircraft could be banned from the airport.
