RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
There were 11 residential burglaries in Torrance and none in
Southeast Torrance.
4 in North Torrance, 3 in West Torrance, 2 in Hollywood Riviera,
1 in Walteria and 1 in Old Torrance.
AUTO BURGLARY
There were 10 auto burglaries in Torrance and none in Southeast
Torrance.
Catalytic converters were taken in Torrance from 3 vehicles. 2
in North Torrance and 1 in the 800
block of Maple Avenue.
STRONG ARM ROBBERY
Friday, July 11th, 6PM, 2100 Block 235th Street

Suspect used an unknown object to hit victim in the head,
causing injury and
took her purse.

The proposal for the new Costco store on the empty Rockefeller
property on Lomita Blvd
will be on the August 6th agenda of the Torrance Planning
Commission.
