This report is for Sunday, August 18, 2013 through Saturday, August 24, 2013 RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES There were nine reported residential burglaries in Torrance during this reporting period. Three of them were in Southeast Torrance. 1800 Block 238th St (Walnut) Monday, August 19th, between 8PM and 9PM. Suspect forced open door for entry, ransacked and took safe, jewelry and cash. Possibly three suspects involved. 1900 Block 237th Place (Walnut-Cabrillo) Tuesday, August 20th, between 10:15AM and Noon. Suspect removed screen and entered open window for entry into residence. No details on property stolen. 2200 Block 236th Place (Arlington – Pennsylvania) Tuesday, August 20th, between 4PM and 7PM. Suspect removed screen, pried open window for entry and took laptop, tablet.
