City of Torrance Recommends 65 foot Cell Phone Tower at Sur La Brea Park

The Parks and Recreation Commission meeting on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at 7PM in the West Annex Commission Meeting Room, 3031 Torrance Blvd will be voting on a proposed 65 foot cell phone tower at Sur La Brea Park. 

Leroy Jackson, Torrance City Manager and Jeffrey Gibson, Torrance Community Services Director are recommending that the Parks and Recreation Commission concur in a proposal to relocate a Cellular site at Sur La Brea Park. This proposal involves the construction of a 65 foot cell phone tower at Sur La Brea Park with an adjoining ground structure.

Southeast Torrance 7 12 5PM 2400 Block 235th Place Suspect entered open garage, entered residence via open access door, fled when resident yelled at him. No property loss Old Torrance 7 12 1AM 800 Block Portola Ave Suspected entered residence via unlocked door and fled when victim woke up in the bedroom. Hillside 7 16 2:44AM 2500 Ridgeland Rd Glass Panel removed to unlock door for entry, Suspects fled when victim awoke, screamed and chased them out of the residence.
